Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka will lock horns in a three-match One-Day International series, starting on Friday, at the Harare Sports Club.
The visiting Sri Lankan side is coming off consecutive series win in the format, against Australia and Bangladesh at home, and will prove to be a tough opponent for Zimbabwe, which has last seven of its last 10 completed ODIs.
However, the host will take inspiration from its latest ODI assignment which resulted in a 2-1 series win over Ireland at home in February this year.
The last time these two teams faced off in 50-over cricket was in January last year in Colombo. Sri Lanka had clinched the three-match series 2-0 back then.
