Zee Business hosted its first Mutual Fund Awards 2025, celebrating excellence and trust in the mutual fund sector. The ceremony brought together top names from the industry, including ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, SBI Mutual Fund, Axis Mutual Fund and Kotak Mahindra AMC.

A total of 18 awards across 9 categories were presented to recognise outstanding performance and leadership.

Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund won the Gold Award for Best Equity Fund House of the Year, while SBI Mutual Fund received the Gold Award for Best Debt Fund House. Invesco Mutual Fund was honoured as the Best Hybrid Fund House.

In individual awards, Rajiv Thakkar and Rukun Tarachandani of PPFAS were named Fund Managers of the Year in Equity (Gold). Manish Banthia of ICICI Mutual Fund won the Fund Manager of the Year in Debt (Gold), while Shobhit Mehrotra of HDFC received the Silver award in the same category.

The CEO of the Year (Gold) title went to Navneet Munot, MD of HDFC AMC and Neel Parag Parikh of PPFAS secured the Silver award in the CEO category.

The ceremony saw the participation of industry stalwarts and veterans, adding significance to the event. Zee Business organised these awards to honour mutual fund companies delivering exceptional work and building long-term trust with investors.

The awards marked an important milestone in recognising companies and individuals driving growth and building investor confidence in India’s mutual fund industry.​
