New Zealand pacer Zakary Foulkes claimed nine wickets on his Test debut during his side’s innings and 359 runs win over Zimbabwe at Bulawayo on Saturday.

Foulkes, 23, who recorded figures of 4/38 in the first innings, registered his maiden five-wicket haul in the second innings to finish with match figures of 9/75.

Foulkes’ match figures better countryman’s Will O’Rourke’s 9/93 on his debut against South Africa in 2024.

The pacer already made his ODI debut in 2024 against Sri Lanka and has 13 T20I caps to his name.

New Zealand completed a 2-0 series win over the host.
