Timor-Leste and Zambia become latest members of ICC


Timor-Leste and Zambia have become the latest members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), the board announced on Sunday.

The addition of two new entrants has taken the ICC member count to 110.

“Two new members joined the ICC family to take the total membership to 110 members with Timor-Leste Cricket Federation and Zambia Cricket Union formally becoming ICC Associate members,” ICC stated.

Zambia becomes the 22nd African nation to join the ICC. Timor-Leste is now the 10th East Asia Pacific associate member, and the first since Philippines joined 22 years ago in 2003.

The decision took place in the ICC Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Singapore.
