Tata Motors has officially unveiled the much-anticipated Harrier.ev, marking a bold entry into the electric SUV space with aggressive pricing, advanced features, and segment-leading range. With bookings opening from July 2, the company has announced the introductory prices for the Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variants, while pricing for the Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) trims—featuring a dual-motor setup—will be revealed on June 27, 2025.
Battery options & performance
The Tata Harrier.ev is available with two battery pack choices:
65 kWh delivering a certified range of 538 km
75 kWh offering an ARAI-rated range of 627 km
The dual-motor configuration includes a 155.8 hp front motor and a 234.7 hp rear motor, enabling the EV to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. Tata also shared an estimated real-world (C75) range for the 75 kWh variant, which stands between 480 km to 505 km.
Drive modes & terrain capability
Setting a new benchmark in its class, the Harrier.ev boasts six multi-terrain drive modes:
- Sand
- Snow
- Rock
- Mud/Ruts
- Normal
- Custom
It also comes equipped with Off-Road Assist features, including low-speed cruise control, which can maintain a steady speed of 5 km/h—making it notably more capable than the diesel version, which offers just three basic drive modes.
