Tata Motors has officially opened bookings for its recently launched electric SUV, the Tata Harrier.ev, priced from Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The much-anticipated model is the brand’s first all-electric vehicle to offer an all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup, setting a new benchmark in Tata’s EV lineup.
Available in five variants — Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus, Empowered, and Empowered AWD — the Harrier.ev also comes with a special loyalty bonus of Rs 1 lakh for existing Tata EV customers.
Powertrain & range
The Harrier.ev is offered with two battery pack options:
- 65 kWh with rear-wheel-drive (RWD)
- 75 kWh, available in both RWD and dual-motor AWD configuration
The RWD versions produce 238 hp and 315 Nm, while the dual-motor AWD variant generates 313 hp and 504 Nm of torque. Tata claims the 65 kWh variant delivers a range of 538 km, whereas the 75 kWh RWD and AWD versions offer 627 km and 622 km, respectively, on a single charge (MIDC).
Tech-Loaded Interiors
Inside, the Harrier.ev features a revamped dashboard, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and the world’s first 14.53-inch Harman infotainment system powered by Samsung NEO QLED. Other highlights include:
- JBL Black 10-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos
- Voice-assisted panoramic sunroof
- Powered and ventilated front seats
- Driver seat with memory, ambient lighting, and rear sunblinds
The range-topping AWD Stealth Edition is priced at Rs 30.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata is expected to begin deliveries of the Harrier.ev soon, further intensifying competition in India’s premium electric SUV segment.
