Shefali Jariwala’s heartbreaking sudden demise has sent waves of shock across the entertainment world. The actress and reality TV star who was popularly known as the ‘Kaanta Laga Girl’ passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42. All her fans and loved ones are stunned by her demise since the actress was seen active on social media just days before her tragic demise. While the authorities are still investigating the cause behind Shefali’s demise, the actress has begun her final journey to the crematorium.

As per the renowned journalist, Vickey Lalwani, Shefali Jariwala was brought into the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai after 11 pm in the late hours of June 27, 2025. A couple of people accompanied them. However, the doctors declared her dead upon arrival. Later, the hospital authorities confirmed her demise but gave no update on its cause. However, some media reports revealed that the mortal remains of the late actress were taken to the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai for post-mortem.
Several celebrities like Surbhi Chandana, Arti Singh and Vikas Fhatak looked visibly emotional as they visited the hospital. After a few hours of procedure, Shefali’s mortal remains have been released by the hospital authorities and she has started her final journey. Given her marital status, her body was covered in a red cloth at her residence where her loved ones were allowed to pay their final respects. Meanwhile, a few minutes ago, Shefali’s husband, Parag Tyagi, was seen heartbroken by her side. The mortal remains would be taken to the Oshiwara Crematorium, where her final rites are scheduled to take place.

Earlier in the day, Shefali Jariwala’s husband, Parag Tyagi, who married her in 2014, looked completely shattered. He was seen trying to hold himself as he took Shefali’s dog with him to make arrangements for the last rites. The police also questioned the Jodhaa Akbar actor during the day. However, what made the painful moment more difficult was the presence of paparazzi at every step and multiple videos of a teary-eyed Parag pleading with media to give them space surfaced online. In turn, netizens slammed the intrusive behaviour of photographers during this sensitive phase.
