Royal Enfield rolls out Shadow Ash variant of Guerrilla 450: Check price, features, and booking details

Royal Enfield has launched a striking new colourway for its Guerrilla 450 motorcycle, named Shadow Ash, at the GRRR Nights X Underground event in Pune, organised in collaboration with Tapaswi Racing. Priced at Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the new shade features an olive-green fuel tank in matte finish with blacked-out detailing, designed to accentuate the bike’s muscular and aggressive styling.

Bookings for the new colourway begin today, with retail deliveries across India set to start from 25 August 2025.

The launch was part of an adrenaline-packed evening celebrating underground street culture, including drags, drifts, and other high-octane activities. Royal Enfield’s event highlighted not just the motorcycle but the lifestyle associated with it, targeting enthusiasts drawn to the rugged and urban appeal of the Guerrilla 450.

Powerful engine, unique tuning

Under the tank, the Guerrilla 450 continues to be powered by the 452 cc liquid-cooled Sherpa 450 engine, also found in the Himalayan 450. The single-cylinder engine delivers 40 hp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch. Royal Enfield has tuned the engine specifically for the Guerrilla, giving it a character distinct from its sibling models.

The motorcycle is built on a tubular frame with the engine as a stressed member, supported by 43 mm telescopic front forks with 140 mm travel and a rear mono-shock offering 150 mm of travel. Braking is handled by a 310 mm ventilated disc at the front and a 270 mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS for safety.

The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 120/70 R17 (front) and 160/60 R17 (rear) CEAT tyres.

Tech and connectivity for modern riders

The Dash variant, now available in Shadow Ash, comes equipped with a fully digital Tripper Dash console compatible with Google Maps. Other features include ride-by-wire technology, dual riding modes, hazard lights, LED lighting, and a USB port for charging mobile devices. The lower Tripper Dash variant retains a mix of analogue and digital displays but shares many of the same convenience features.

The Guerrilla 450 continues to be available in other colour options, including Brava Blue, Yellow Ribbon, Gold Dip, Playa Black, Peix Bronze, and Smoke Silver, with the new Shadow Ash offering a bold, urban twist for enthusiasts looking to stand out.
