Global music icon Rihanna, who voices the beloved character Smurfette in the upcoming The Smurfs movie, made a grand appearance at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles. The singer and producer was joined by her sons, RZA and Riot, turning the blue carpet into a heartwarming family affair.

The animated feature, set to release in India on 18th July 2025, marks Rihanna’s debut in voice acting and her return to music with an original titled ‘Friend of Mine’, featured in the film’s soundtrack.

At the premiere, Rihanna was seen introducing her children to Papa Smurf himself, creating picture-perfect moments that have gone viral globally. Clad in a chocolate-brown ensemble with a matching jacket, Rihanna looked radiant as she celebrated the film with fans and co-stars.

When Papa Smurf (John Goodman) is mysteriously captured by the evil wizards Razamel and Gargamel, Smurfette (voiced by Rihanna) leads the Smurfs on a daring mission into the real world to rescue him. Along the way, the Smurfs are joined by new allies and must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe from chaos. This film promises to deliver the magic of the Smurfs while introducing exciting new challenges and deepening the characters’ journey.
