England batter Joe Root continued his merry-making against India during the fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Old Trafford in Manchester on Friday.
Root, who is England’s all-time leading run-scorer in Tests, has now crossed Rahul Dravid and Jacques Kallis in the highest run-getters list.
Sachin Tendulkar leads the list with 15921 runs in 200 Tests, ahead of former Australian captain Ricky Ponting, who has scored 13378 in 168 Tests.
