Minor Dalit Girl Abducted From Prayagraj In Alleged Conversion Plot, 2 Arrested

A shocking case has emerged from Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, where a minor Dalit girl was reportedly abducted and taken to Kerala with the intention of forcibly converting her religion and allegedly preparing her for jihadi terror activities.

Senior police officer Ajay Pal Sharma, in a statement to ABP News, confirmed that the girl belongs to the Dalit community and is a minor. The entire sequence of events reportedly unfolded over the span of two weeks.

According to police, the girl was lured and taken to Kerala under false pretences. The investigation revealed that two young men from Prayagraj were directly involved in her abduction and have since been arrested. Police have also identified additional suspects connected to the Kerala module and have deployed teams to apprehend them.

Police Say Major Conspiracy May Be Uncovered Soon

Sharma stated, “The girl was misled and taken to Kerala for religious conversion. Two men from Prayagraj have been arrested in the case, and efforts are underway to apprehend others involved from Kerala.” He added that significant breakthroughs are expected soon as the investigation progresses.

The case came to light after the girl’s family filed a police complaint alleging that a Muslim youth had harassed and manipulated her before taking her away. An FIR has been registered, and a comprehensive investigation is underway.

The disturbing revelations have caused panic and outrage in the region. Authorities believe the case may be part of a larger conversion and radicalisation module, and are working swiftly to uncover the full network behind the plot.

Police have hinted that more arrests and critical disclosures are likely in the coming days.
