Midcap infra major stock gains up to 3% today: What’s driving gains


Shares of the midcap civil constuction company NCC in Tuesday’s trade (July 1, 2025) traded steady with a posiitve bias at Rs 231.85, up Rs 1.4 or 0.61 per cent. The stock at the day’s high hit a price of Rs 236.95, gaining nearly 3 per cent from the previous day’s close of Rs 230.45 per share.

The gains in the stock were spurred after the company in an exchange filing provided an update on the orders secured by the infra major in June. 

In the press release, the company said that it received orders worth Rs 1,690.51 crores (excluding GST) in the month of June 2025. The orders are related to the building division. These orders are received from several state government agencies and a private limited company and does not include any internal orders, it added.

In the last one year, the share price of NCC has tumbled 28 per cent, while its 3-year return is at 320 per cent.
