LPG Price Today: The price of commercial LPG cylinders in India has been revised. State-run OMCs or oil marketing companies have slashed the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 58.5 per cylinder.
Commercial LPG cylinder now Rs 24 cheaper
As the new rates come into effect today, the retail price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi now stands at Rs 1,665. Earlier, the price was Rs 1,723.50. This reduction in commercial LPG cylinders will bring much-needed relief for businesses and commercial establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and Dhabas, which heavily rely on commercial LPG for daily operations.
In other metros, including Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, new revised prices are Rs 1,769, Rs 1,616.5 and Rs 1,823.5 per cylinder, respectively.
No Relief for Domestic LPG Consumers
While commercial rates have seen a cut, domestic LPG cylinder prices remain unchanged. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder is still as follows:
- Delhi: Rs 853.00
- Mumbai: Rs 852.50
- Kolkata: Rs 879.00
- Chennai: Rs 868.50
This means that domestic consumers will continue to pay the same rates as before, and there are no immediate signs of a price cut.
ATF price hiked
Meanwhile, price of air turbine fuel (ATF) has been hiked by Rs 6,271.5 per kl. In the previous June month, the rate was slashed by Rs 2,414.25 per kl.
