After 25 years of parting ways, India’s first OG boy band is back. Yes, the news is real, the ‘Band Of Boys’ have officially reunited for a new song featuring 92-year-old legendary singer, Asha Bhosle. The band consists of five members, including Karan Oberoi, Siddharth Haldipur, Sherrin Varghese, Chintoo Bhosle, and Sudhanshu Pandey. It is worth mentioning that, apart from being musicians, Karan and Sudhanshu also prove their mettle in acting.

Recently, the handsome boys are back as they are all set for a song launch with Asha Bhosle. Yes, the 92-year-old legendary singer collaborated with the forever young boys for the song, Dil Sarfira. In the video that has been trending the boy bands was seen dressed up in a white-hued tuxedos with pink-hued pocket square. They were seen striking a pookie pose with legendary singer, Asha Bhosle. The song will take you back to 2000s era when they were all a rage.

For the unversed, Band of Boys rose to fame in 2001 with their two albums, Yeh Bhi Woh Bhi, and Gaane Bhi Do Yaaro. They once ruled the independent singing scenes in India with songs like Meri Neend, Gori, Nain Kataari, and Thirchi Nazar being some of the few hit chartbusters.

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Sudhanshu Pandey confirmed the reunion of their boy band. He stated that the band is ready to encite the audience again with its new chartbusters after 24 years. Sudhanshu was quoted as saying:

“We’ve finally reunited now. Now that we’re at that stage where we’re comfortable in every possible way, we’ve decided to regroup. And we’re going to come up with a lot of songs.”

For the unversed, last year, all the members of the band reunited giving nostalgia to their heartcore fans. It is reported that Sudhanshu left the band, due to the financial reasons. However, the band regrouped in 2018, he was not a part of it. Sudhanshu talked about the reason and said:

“I wanted to make sure that I’m taking good care of my family and making money the way I used to earlier. Actually, this realization came to me during my three-and-a-half or four-year stint with Band Of Boys when I lost out on so many opportunities. I was acting before that.”
