IND vs ENG, 4th Test: Siraj goes off field with suspected ankle injury

India’s troubles compounded on the third day of the fourth Test against England in Manchester when Mohammed Siraj limped off the field due to discomfort in his left ankle.

Moments earlier, Jasprit Bumrah had left the field mid spell due to discomfort on his left ankle. Though the spearhead returned to the field after four overs away, he did not bowl in the remaining second session.

Siraj, who was bowling his 22nd over, pulled up after a delivery with some pain in his left ankle. Even though he completed the over, he was seen hobbling and in pain as he tried to field a delivery. He gave away 98 runs in 22 overs and did not pick a wicket.
