Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has officially begun deliveries of its much-awaited adventure scooter, the X-ADV, at a price of Rs 11.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the X-ADV combines the ruggedness of an ADV bike with the comfort and convenience of a maxi-scooter, making it a unique offering in India’s premium two-wheeler market.
Deliveries Commence at Select Dealerships
Deliveries for the X-ADV have kicked off from Honda’s BigWing Topline dealerships, with the first batch recently handed over to customers at the brand’s Gurugram outlet—the same location where deliveries of the Honda Rebel 1100 began. The scooter is being retailed only via a limited number of BigWing dealerships across the country, underlining its niche and premium positioning.
Key Features & Engine Specs
The Honda X-ADV stands out with its adventure-focused styling, which includes long-travel suspension, a high-mounted front fascia, and dual-purpose ergonomics. The scooter is powered by a 745cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine mated to Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). This motor churns out 58.6 PS of power and 69 Nm of torque, offering a dynamic blend of power and practicality for both city rides and weekend getaways.
Available in Two Colours
Buyers can choose between two colour options: Black and White, each enhancing the scooter’s bold road presence. Its ADV-focused design and premium tech make it one of the most versatile scooters in the market.
Rivalry with BMW C400 GT
In the Indian market, the Honda X-ADV’s primary rival is the BMW C400 GT, another high-end maxi-scooter with a focus on long-distance comfort and performance. While the C400 GT offers luxury and premium tech, the X-ADV counters with its off-road-ready build and powerful engine configuration, giving buyers a rare choice in this niche two-wheeler segment.
