In two separate and chilling incidents within a span of 24 hours, violence erupted on the streets of the capital, leaving two men dead and two others injured—including a young girl.
The first incident unfolded early Friday morning in outer-north Delhi’s Bawana area, where a 43-year-old man was gunned down in broad daylight. The victim, identified as Dipak, was reportedly with his daughter when unidentified assailants opened fire.
Dipak sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot. His daughter, caught in the crossfire, was struck in the hand by a bullet. She was rushed to the hospital and is said to be out of danger, according to police officials.
Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation. A case has been registered, and multiple police teams are working to identify and apprehend those responsible for the deadly shooting. Forensic experts have combed the crime scene, while surveillance footage from the surrounding area is being analyzed for leads.

As the city reeled from the morning’s tragedy, another brutal act of violence was reported late Thursday night from Delhi’s Aman Vihar locality.
Around 8:30 p.m., two brothers were allegedly attacked by a group of unidentified men armed with sharp weapons. Police said one of the brothers died at the scene due to severe stab wounds, while the other was critically injured and remains hospitalized.
Emergency services responded swiftly to the distress call. A police team, along with forensic specialists, visited the site to gather evidence and initiate a probe. The body of the deceased has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
Both incidents remain under investigation, and the motives behind the attacks are still unclear.
