POCO has launched a new smartphone — the POCO M7 Plus 5G — in India on Wednesday, August 13 under Rs 13,000. The device comes with a massive 7000mAh silicon carbon battery and a 6.9-inch FHD+ display supported by a 144Hz refresh rate.
The M7 Plus 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB of Turbo RAM. According to the company, the 144Hz adaptive refresh rate ensures buttery-smooth scrolling, immersive gaming, and seamless social media browsing.
It packs a 7,000mAh silicon carbon battery designed for 1,600 charge cycles, retaining 80 per cent capacity even after four years of usage, the company said. It also claimed that this battery is the largest in this segment, which comes with 18W reverse charging.
Speaking on the launch, Sandeep Singh Arora, Chief Business Officer, POCO and Xiaomi, India said, “With the POCO M7 Plus 5G, we wanted to create a device that’s truly built for the new-age entertainment lifestyle, a phone that can keep up with your busiest days, longest binge sessions and most demanding apps.”

The M7 Plus 5G offers 2 OS generations, 4 years of security updates, with IP64 dust and water resistance. It is equipped with a 50MP AI rear camera.

POCO M7 Plus 5G: Price, Launch Offers, and Availability
POCO M7 Plus will go on sale on Flipkart starting August 19, 12 noon, at an introductory price of Rs 12,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 13,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant.
As part of the launch offer, consumers can avail an instant bank discount of Rs 1,000 using HDFC, SBI, or ICICI Bank cards or an additional Rs 1,000 exchange bonus on eligible devices.
