Shubman Gill scores second-most runs by a captain in a Test series


Shubman Gill finishes India’s tour of England with 754 runs, the second-highest scored by a captain in a Test series.

Gill’s effort ranks second only to the 810 runs scored by Don Bradman’s in the 1936/37 Ashes.

Gill’s remarkable tour saw him score his 754 runs at an average of 75.40, including four centuries and a high score of 269 in the second Test at Edgbaston.
