Nothing set to launch flagship smartphone ‘Phone 3’ next month — here’s what we know so far


Nothing Phone 3 Launch Date: Nothing is all set to launch its flagship smartphone — the Nothing Phone 3 — in India next month. The London-based technology company said it will unveil the phone in India and global markets on Tuesday, July 1.  Ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed several key details about its upcoming phone, including that it will be Nothing’s first true flagship smartphone. Here’s what we know so far –

When will Nothing Phone 3 be launched in India?

The Nothing Phone 3 will launch on July 1 at 6 PM BST, i.e., 10:30 PM IST, and will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart.

Nothing Phone (3) to feature 50MP periscope lens

The company has revealed that the Phone (3) will feature a 50MP periscope lens. Nothing has also shared several macro photo samples taken with the device.

Over 330 Nothing service centers nationwide

Ahead of the launch of Phone (3), Nothing has established over 330 service centers across the country, including 5 exclusive centers in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai — along with 20 dedicated priority desks, Co-Founder & India President Akis Evangelidis shared this achievement via X.

Nothing Phone 3 to feature Glyph Matrix

Replacing the traditional Glyph interface featured on previous-generation phones, Nothing has introduced the Glyph Matrix for Phone (3). On Thursday, June 19, the company shared a short 06-second video clip on X, giving a first look at the new “Glyph Matrix” lights on the back of the Nothing phone (3).

Nothing Phone 3 to come with most advanced processor

The company revealed that the phone (3) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. This will be the most advanced processor in any Nothing smartphone to date.

Nothing Phone 3 to be manufactured locally 

Nothing’s upcoming first true flagship smartphone will be manufactured locally in India. According to the company, the Phone (3) will be produced at Nothing’s manufacturing facility in Chennai. 

Nothing killed the Glyph Interface

The company has also teased that the phone will come without the Glyph interface, which has been Nothing’s signature design language so far. We have seen it in the predecessor Phone 2, Phone 1 models, and also in the Phone 3 (a) and Phone 3 (a) Pro.

Nothing Phone 3: A closer look

In another teaser, Nothing has shown a close look at the handset. This gives a hint of the back panel and design of the upcoming phone.

Nothing Phone 3 Price Revealed?

Nothing CEO Carl Pei made a surprise appearance at Google’s Android event, where he announced the expected price of the Nothing Phone 3. He revealed that the phone will be priced at around £800 (approximately Rs 92,000). Carl also mentioned that the flagship device will feature all premium materials.

Nothing’s Recent Launch

The month before last, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF launched its second smartphone — the CMF Phone 2 Pro — in India, starting at Rs 17,999. The smartphone features a triple-camera system, a bright display, and a premium design.
