Man Climbs Tower Inside Ayodhya Government Complex in Protest, Officials Rush to Scene

Tension gripped the Ayodhya Collectorate on Thursday morning after a man dramatically climbed a mobile tower inside the premises, protesting alleged inaction against an individual identified as Abhishek Singh. The incident triggered an immediate response from local authorities and police, drawing a large crowd to the scene.

According to Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Mahendra Pratap Singh, officials were alerted to the situation around 9:05 AM. “We received information that someone had scaled a mobile tower within the Collectorate compound,” he said. “When we reached the site, we saw the man already on the tower. He appears to have some grievances or demands. Senior officers have been informed, and efforts are underway to counsel him.”

Authorities are currently trying to negotiate with the protester, urging him to come down safely. However, CFO Singh noted that it remains uncertain how long the standoff might continue.

Onlookers watched anxiously as the man stayed perched high above, refusing to descend despite repeated pleas. The situation remains tense, with emergency personnel standing by to prevent any mishap.
